DI Colorist | Film & Episodic

My name is Ilker Er — I'm a DI Colorist and the founder of Mediabee Color Lab.

I specialize in cinematic color finishing for independent films, short films, music videos, and branded content. With six years of dedicated DI experience, I manage end-to-end color pipelines — from project setup and look development through final delivery — working closely with directors and cinematographers at every stage.

My work is built around ACES and DaVinci Wide Gamut color management, advanced film emulation — Kodak Vision3, Kodak 2383, Fuji stocks — and precise shot matching across ARRI, RED, Canon, Sony, and Blackmagic camera systems.

I'm a Certified DaVinci Resolve Trainer and a Full Member of the Colorist Society International. I hold a PhD in Media & Globalization — a background that deepens how I read images and understand the visual language of a project.

A successful grade, to me, is one that honors the cinematography — technically clean, emotionally honest, and invisible in the best possible way. I work to understand what a DP built on set and carry that intention through to the finish, whether that means protecting something delicate or pushing an image somewhere bolder.
